After class got cancelled this morning i felt inspired, inspired to do something productive. I went to Polly's got a coffee and spent money on records. I rarely check out the used Jazz section in the store because it usually results in me being disappointed after strumming through numerous albums to try and find one to my liking. Today was special. Today i found a record ive been looking for, not to mention used? Dave Brubeck and his Quartet have been a favorite of mine since i began my love for jazz after taking an appreciation class for it in Jr. college. To make a short story long...as i already have... found this record for 5 bucks in great condition and it made my day. :)

I love my earth! My teacher came up with an interesting challenge for us in class today; she proposed to us to try and not use any disposable food containers on Wednesday (earth day). For every meal or snack you use on Wednesday try and not to make a mess while doing so, as in ... use a cup for liquids and a plate for solids, an example would be: if you go get some coffee and or a pasty that day get it for here, or ask for a plate. So think, get creative, and challenge yourself this upcoming earth day.

There are not too many upcoming bands/musical products i have been really excited about for a while now, (i mean other than the upcoming grizzly bear album) but everything i have heard from the mystical Dead Man's Bones i have truly enjoyed. The duo of Ryan Gosling (suprising) and zach shields plus the addition of children in halloween costumes makes for a good gimick, but after hearing their two hauntingly good songs my undivided attention is all theirs. Can't wait for their full length. Enjoy the video.
