A Discovery!

So, my friend Alex is in town for a few days and while hanging out one afternoon i saw this application on his iphone; being so curious i asked him about it. He said it was this music app. called Pandora, and then made me feel really dumb for not knowing what is was. Once his anger cooled off he then later explained that you can type in one of your favorite artists in its vast musical library and it will create a radio station based on that artist. So i tried it out and boy am i glad i did. Its free, easy to use and kick ass. So check it out.

sidenote:
i was making a mewithoutyou station and there was a pre-made station created by someone named Tinsley Ellis, for a second i thought it said Tristan Ellis, but then realized the guys name was Tinsley. Haha.

Music Monday

Past -

Roxy Music - Roxy Music

Slowly becoming one of my favorite 70's music group's, Roxy Music's experimental sound and Brian Ferry's ghoulishly playful vocals make for a great debut album.

"Damn i'm Sorry"

i want to start up a tricks tuesday, for skateboarding. So if anyone has a video camera and loves to skate let's make some video clips for a tuesday post.

Music Tuesday???

Sorry for the delay friends, i just got too lazy yesterday. So for my tardiness here are TWO Music Monday recommendations for ya babies.

Past-

My Bloody Valentine - Loveless

An all-time classic, dream of a record, is one to check out for sure! The loud instrumental arrangements cover the soft melodic vocals in a mix of chaos and comfort. From out of the shadows of the 1990's, My Bloody Valentine reunite to bring us an upcoming record later this year, i can not wait!

Present -

Crystal Antlers - EP

This band just popped up out of the ground strumming and screaming away throughout their debut EP, this uproar of a band will shake you from your sleep, toss and turn your brain, and make you like it.
